Mark your calendars and join us for the second Funke conference “EUDI Wallet Prototypes”, scheduled for December 11, 2024, in Berlin.

Following the impressive achievements and valuable learnings from stage 1, eight international teams have advanced to stage 2, continuing to innovate and refine their solutions. Join us and discover firsthand the innovative solutions of the Funke teams who took on the challenge to create the most trustworthy, user-friendly European Digital Identity Wallet.

Furthermore, engage in insightful discussions with the EUDI Wallet Project team about their vision for the EUDI Wallet. Connect with experts and like-minded professionals to exchange ideas, share ideas, and collaborate on the future of digital identity.

  1. Meet the Funke Teams:

    Experience first-hand the latest development of the prototypes, hear about their challenges, and learn about their progress.

  2. Insights and Debates:

    Engage in discussions and gain insights into the EUDI Wallet Project teams’ vision for the governmental wallet, the architecture concept and the ecosystem. Take the stage and discuss hot topics during the “Spark Debates”.

  3. Networking:

    Connect with other experts and like-minded people to discuss the future of digital identity.

On stage: Updates from the EUDI Wallet project, the Funke competition and the eight teams.

12:30 to 3:30 PM
At their stands: Meet the Funke teams and experience the prototypes at first hand. Discuss with the EUDI Wallet Project Team the latest developments for the governmental wallet and the ecosystem.

3:30 to 4:30 PM
On stage: “Spark Debates”: It’s your turn to take the stage in this fast-paced, interactive format. Participants are invited to submit pressing questions on EUDI Wallet topics in advance, with each issue debated in ten-minute rounds. Take part and submit your ideas. The Call for Contributions is now online.

5:00 PM
On stage: Announcement of the selected teams moving forward to Stage 3.

5:30 PM
Networking Time: Join us for a relaxed get-together with delicious food and drinks.

Do you have a bold question that deserves to be debated on stage? Join us at the Funke Conference and the Spark Debates, the high-energy discussion format taking place on December 11 in Berlin.

WHAT TO EXPECT

10-minute debates: Each discussion begins with a brief statement from the contributor, followed by an open-panel debate.

Interactive and unscripted: No slides, no formalities—just lively argument and fresh perspectives.

Audience-powered selection: The audience on site will vote to decide which questions make it to the stage.

HOW TO CONTRIBUTE

To submit your question/topic, please provide:

  1. Your name and contact information (full name and email address).
  2. If different, who will present the question/topic on stage in Berlin.
  3. The question itself.
  4. A short summary of your position (max. 250 words).
