Five years ago, SPRIND started to find and develop breakthrough innovations on behalf of the Federal Republic of Germany. From the start, the aim was nothing less than to master many of the major global and social challenges with technical and social innovations. Since then, many clever ideas and minds have crossed the path of SPRIND and have accompanied it ever since.
On October 10 and 11, SPRIND invited guests to the Pittlerwerke in Leipzig to take a look at pioneering projects and their status quo as well as an optimistic view of the future. Together with around 500 guests from business, politics, science, research and new thinkers, SPRIND employees celebrated the company's achievements to date.
Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz congratulated via video message, Federal Minister for Research and Education Bettina Stark-Watzinger personally and received the new, hot-off-the-press TAT-SACHEN 202324 as a gift. Supervisory Board members Mario Brandenburg, Dietmar Harhoff, Susanne Klatten, Holger Mann and Birgitta Wolff also took the opportunity for a direct exchange.
On the first day of the event, the main stage focused on SPRIND and its history, current developments, projects and challenges, while the second day was dedicated to workshops to help innovators take the breakthrough forward, for example in legal, financial or PR matters.
In addition to the official program, there was plenty of room for networking and personal discussions on the impressive grounds of the Pittlerwerke - and possibly one or two groundbreaking ideas.
