MemLog – a subsidiary of SprinD, Germany’s home for people with radical new ideas – is driving the shift toward a new computing paradigm of neuromorphic computing. We develop new memristors to enable AI-systems that compute faster with significantly higher energy-efficiency. Our goal is to mature this breakthrough technology and scale it toward mass production.

YOUR ROLE:

As Manager Device Integration MDA (f/m/d), you will have operational responsibility to integrate and characterize memristor technology-based devices. This relates to the full scope of defining and designing the process technology steps, preparing the electrical characterization in order to achieve highest quality and reliability. Finally, these devices will require an optimized package. The goal for device integration is the preparation for scaling it at a high maturity level to mass production with foundries.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Development

  • Execute the project plan for device integration in alignment with the overall project plan
  • Ensure project milestone execution in time

Resource Management

  • Manage and coordinate the device integration team
  • Plan and monitor the sub-project device integration w.r.t. budget, funding, material resources
  • Coordinate the project planning with the other team leads
  • Report to management and other stakeholders.

Ecosystem & Partnerships

  • Contribute with your expertise to networking with foundries, universities, research institutes
  • Integrate external technical partners or experts in plan for device integration if required for the overall project plan.
  • Monitor memristor and CMOS technology development with focus on device integration

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Completed university degree in e.g. semiconductor technology, electrical engineering, physics or material science.
  • 2+ years’ work experience as team lead in semiconductor- or related industry
  • Solid technical know-how of semiconductor physics for device integration and characterization
  • Solid experience in semiconductor device quality and reliability requirements
  • Good expertise in device packaging
  • Experience in managing small teams
  • Creative, solution-oriented and passionate way of work
  • Good communication and presentation skills in English and German
  • Based in Dresden, with the ability to work in a hybrid model that includes regular remote work
